Client Milestones

We met Benjamin and Golnaz in 2020 and helped them buy their first home together. This week, they got married in Mendocino and invited us to be a part of the ceremony. Kevin was the wedding officiant, and Bora served as a flower cat. The weather was amazing, and we were surrounded by friendly people and natural beauty. We’re so grateful to be included in our clients’ life milestones!

How it started:

How it’s going:

Resolutions of Gratitude

We all want to lose weight, get in shape, clean out our closets, watch less TV, and read more books. But this year, we’re resolving to practice gratitude for the world around us.

CHIC (Pearl)

The theme of my resolutions is love. I plan to volunteer for causes I’m passionate about and help friends whenever they are in need. I’m also going to be more open with sharing compliments and perform at least one random act of kindness for another person every day. And I resolve to only share positive posts on social media!

GEEK (Kevin)

My year is going to center around connection. I resolve to call my sisters more often, get together with neighbors for block parties and backyard barbecues, cook meals for friends and family, take more pictures of the people in my life, go on more hikes and appreciate nature, and sit down once a week to write thank you cards!

Thank you, George Washington!

Who doesn’t love an extra day off at the end of the weekend, especially when there’s so much to get done before the springtime thaw! How did you spend your Presidents’ Day?

CHIC (Pearl)

I spent most of my Monday showing homes to prospective buyers. I guess you might call this work. For me it’s a labor of love, and it’s great to see buyers coming back to the market after a slow holiday season. At the end of the day, we treated ourselves to a hike in the Windy Hill Preserve!

GEEK (Kevin)

If you know me, you’d probably guess that I used the extra day to get projects done around the house. And normally you’d be right. But just this one time, I got some extra sleep and binge watched classic TV shows until Pearl dragged me out of bed for a sunset hike and some photos!

Geek's Number Talk: The Equinox Cometh

The fall — or autumnal — equinox arrives in the Northern Hemisphere at precisely 12:20pm PDT today, September 22. But the celestial event occurs at the same moment worldwide, when the Sun crosses an imaginary extension of our equator as the Earth tilts on its axis.

So what are  you doing during the lunch hour on Hump Day? Want to have an equinox party?
