Allied Arts Guild – For almost 100 years, the Allied Arts Guild has been a peninsula landmark and a place for artists to come together and share their wares.Today, artists also use their studios as retail space open to the public.

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory – With its 2-mile-long particle accelerator, SLAC pushes the frontiers of human knowledge and drives discoveries that benefit humankind. They also host a variety of public events, including lectures and scientific conferences.
