Where to go

Shoreline Lake Park – In 1968, the City of Mountain View undertook the task of planning a regional park that would provide citizens with environmentally savvy recreation opportunities. The centerpiece, Shoreline Lake is a man-made, 50 acre, salt water lake filled by waters pumped in from the San Francisco Bay that circulate back out into Permanente Creek.

NASA Ames Research Center & Hangar One – One of ten NASA field centers, Ames has led NASA in conducting world-class research and development in aeronautics, exploration technology and science since 1939. Castro Street – Mountain View’s Downtown embodies a unique and authentic character defined by locally-owned shops, restaurants, and cafes. Castro Street is also home to City Hall and a Performing Arts Center.
