The Los Altos Grill is a neighborhood lunch and dinner tradition, and our go-to place for classic American comfort food, from hearty steaks to jalapeño cornbread. Truth be told, it’s more our dear friend Cindy’s Choice. After all, she was born and raised in Los Altos and recently chose it for her birthday lunch. Give it a go this week!

What’s on tap in Mountain View?

Bay Area guy Ted Kim went to Germany and came back looking for a local spot with killer food and a big selection of craft beer. He couldn’t find one. So he opened Steins Beer Garden in Downtown Mountain View. Now they host the city’s annual Oktoberfest and keep us sipping on good beer all year round!

Chic’s Pick: The Sea by Alexander's Steakhouse

We had a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner at The Sea by Alexander's Steakhouse courtesy of Executive Chef Pratik Mungre. A delightfully smoky Old Fashioned cocktail paired nicely with Japanese wagyu beef that literally melts in your mouth.
