Established in 1975 by the Center for Science in the Public Interest, National Food Day promotes healthy, affordable, and sustainable eating. It encourages us to understand the connection between what we eat and the health of the planet, developing a food system that accounts for environmental impact, animal welfare, and the rights of farm and food service workers. In other words: put down that pizza and pick something from your backyard garden!

Today, we celebrate a beloved dish enjoyed worldwide. From spaghetti to penne, it's a delicious excuse to indulge in your favorite pasta. The only question is what type of wine to pair with it!
