Chic’s Pick: Ondam Korean Restaurant

While you’re in Santa Clara for a tour of the Apex, stop by Ondam, a new-ish Korean restaurant on El Camino. I recently went there for a birthday dinner, and it felt like elevated casual dining, with deliciously modern food. Fair warning: They don't deliver or offer pick-up. If you like Korean food, you have to go.

Geek's Choice: Los Altos Grill

The Los Altos Grill is a neighborhood lunch and dinner tradition, and our go-to place for classic American comfort food, from hearty steaks to jalapeño cornbread. It’s my way of celebrating this place we call home, where you can sit outside at night in late June and not get cold!

GEEK (Kevin)

I’ll bet you thought I was going to go with barbecue. Okay, so I’m going with barbecue. I mean, what else is there to do when the sun is out until 8:30pm and you have a few pounds of meat in the fridge that somebody (not saying who) brought home from Costco? Clean your grill, fire up the coals, and let the sizzling commence!
