I have a confession to make: I love udon more than ramen, which makes me an atypical Korean! After a recent broker's tour in Cupertino, my colleague and I went for a quick, easy, and delicious lunch at Marugame Udon. Authentic udon noodles are made fresh daily, using 100% domestic wheat flour, and served up with a tasty broth at an affordable price. The staff even warms the bowls in hot water. What a detail!
My friend left a special package at our front door. And what was inside? A giant cookie from her trip to New York City, which I’m sure was only 3,000 calories or so. I had to destroy the evidence so nobody will ever know about this sweet gift! (Except you, of course.)

We had a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner at The Sea by Alexander's Steakhouse courtesy of Executive Chef Pratik Mungre. A delightfully smoky Old Fashioned cocktail paired nicely with Japanese wagyu beef that literally melts in your mouth.
