A welcome break.

We love a little sunshine as much as the next Chic and Geek, but the past couple weeks have been a little too much for anybody. So we should all be grateful for the forecast of a 72-degree week!

Back to school!

It seems like the first day of school comes earlier and earlier each year. But no matter if it’s August or September, there’s nothing more inspiring than watching students step onto campus for the first time after a long vacation!

A special day for a special treat!

Nobody knows where it started, but putting a toasted marshmallow and a brick of chocolate between two graham crackers has become one of our most cherished summer traditions. So it’s no surprise somebody created a special day for this special treat!

Blend it up!

There’s nothing like an ice cool frosty beverage to take the edge off of a heat wave, and if it happens to have a little alcohol, well, so be it. So blend up a strawberry daiquiri, kick back on the patio, and remember that it’s only July!
